What did /tv/ think of alien covenant? What are your hopes for

They'd tried to do too much I think.
They should have stuck more with the first half stuff... ie monster's chasing and popping out and people being scared. It was like Aliens except the badass soldiers, and like Alien except the long dreary hunt. Now that I think about it, it tried to do a little of each movie and ended up moving too fast for its own good.
