So, any good deals here for other anons?
I impulse-bought the Mr. Arkadin set, though that ultimately ended up being not much of a deal at all. Also ordered Anatomy of a Murder, because that time it actually was cheaper than ordering on amazon/etc. That might be it for me.
I guess this could be a time to get newer releases, though I don't know what has come up recently that really grabs me.
I work at BN
I've picked up merry Christmas mr.Lawrence, godzilla, and burmese harp this sale
I just bought and watched For All Mankind. I strongly recommend it to anyone that has ever had even a passing interest in space. It's basically an assembly of a ton of unreleased NASA footage from the 1968-1972 apollo missions with occasional narration from the astronauts. It perfectly captures the wonderment of space travel. It's a shame it isn't more well known.
Heres the damage so far. Im tempted to go back and pick up Thin Red Line, but Im not sure I like how it looks
So far I've picked up:
Tampopo
In a Lonely Place
Children of Paradise
Stalker
L'argent
Jeanne Dielman
Fellini Satyricon
I'm torn between picking up a few more (probably Exterminating Angel and Ugetsu) and copping the Love+Anarchism set from the arrow sale. Haven't seen them before but I've heard they're very good and I enjoy Japanese New Wave Films

nice picks
Stalker
His Girl Friday
Lost in America
>>85297744
Is Jeanne Dielman actually worth watching? I'm put off by the length of it and the fact that it seems sort of boring, but everyone seems to really love it.
I picked up the Dekalog set
