it was three years between seasons 2 and 3. season 2 had a lot on grief over the presumed death/departure of Evie, and then over her figurative death in the finale when she was lost in the cult.

besides, it was poetic that the cult that existed so people would never forget and move on would be mostly forgotten about. and then they had that new peaceful terrorist group to open season 3 so that people would remember the GR. what more do you want?

I posted in another thread how much I hated the GR dieting season one and someone said "just wait unto season two and three and get back to us."

I hate the GR even more.

Season 1 > Season 2 > Season 3

Season 1 had a solid story (and the superior intro) to the other seasons. Even the ending had a potentially good setup to season 2. However seasons 2 & 3 dragged in some episodes while also being way too biblical. I like season 1 for being mysterious as well as simply focusing on the characters and how the departure effected their lives.

Seasons 2 & 3 introduce the dumb plot of Kevin dying and becoming a Jesus figure. They really fucked up a good TV show. Also I don't get why everybody liked the International Assassin episode. It's 'okay' at best

Just watch season one and end it there. You'll save about 18 hours of your life.
