Forgive the blog post:
>Just watched Threads again today. Loved it, really moved by the raw nature of it all.
>Go through my list of favorite films, I realize 90% of them are incredibly depressing.
>Threads, Sacrifice, Bride of Frankenstein, The Elephant Man, Ikaru etc.
>Go see Spider-Man Homecoming. It's popular, good reviews, seems light, people like this stuff.
>Watching Threads and Spider Man Home Coming on the same day was a bad idea.
>I was so numb and felt nothing during Spidey.
Recommend some quality, fun, light, comfy films Anons. I need more joy in my life.

not a movie, but I've been watching the Dick van Dyke show, and it is funny as fuck
wholesome, too
he and Mary Tyler Moore play a married couple with a kid who truly love each other
it's not about a family where the father is lazy and stupid, the wife is a nag, and the kids are delinquents like i see all the time these days
that said, i've also been watching F is for Family, and while it does follow the stereotype i just mentioned, at the end of the day they do love each other, and it's a pretty funny show, too
ignore me, just rolling for tonight
Pic related is pretty comfy
