I remember thinking to myself beginning of last season, wow Rick finally met his match, he can no longer just brute force his way through his opponent this time, I'm really looking forward to seeing how they as a group have to take down a much, much bigger force using their brains by plotting a coup, maybe have some interesting intrigue in the whole Negan community, there's a lot of subtle and cool things they could play around with, but nah, they threw all of that out of window after episode 2 and Rick will just murder and shoot his way through this once again.
