Yeah 6B was pretty good in retrospect. Watching it week to week was a bit of a chore because everybody just wanted to meet Negan.

I still think Season 5 was the best season. The two halves contrasted each other perfectly. Life on the run vs life in shelter.

Many people rip on the Hospital arc but I liked it (excluding the episode entirely in the Hospital and the way Beth died). 5x07 was one of the best episodes of the show. It perfectly balanced the Atlanta sequences, Abraham's group, and the hospital. It was one of the only occasions they've been able to balance multiple storylines well. That episode was t h i c c .

And a rescue mission is a good enough excuse to go back to Atlanta one last time before they go to Washington.
