I'm kinda underwhelmed with the direction this "series" is going in, I would've loved for the next films to be just exclusively about the New York attack, maybe from different points of view or maybe an origin, I like the design and story of the original Cloverfield monster. Yes I know that sounds like every other giant monster franchise ever but still, Lane was pretty bad and the AYYYLMAOs kinda killed my interest in this universe
