Man my pops (RIP) loved these. Seen all of em with him. Even the one made just for Britain with the guy who only played bond once. He was all about Connery. Hated that Timothy Dalton. Thought Jaws was a joke. Loved some Odd Job. Also thought the newer movies didn't have enough of the cool gadgets n whatnot.

How did Bond get away from that particular scene? I forgot. Did he use some gadget or something? My favorite is Pierce too. My mom loves James Bond and she says everyone's favorite one is just the one they grew up with. Her favorite is Roger Moore.

Brosnan was best charisma Bond. The Bond I'd most expect to sweet talk his way through anything.

Craig is great as a brutish, emotional Bond but they've toned him down on that since Casino and Quantum. Storywise it makes sense for settling his emotions with Vesper but I'd like him to be more brutish again. He's still my favorite though.

Connery is the best of both worlds mix of those too, Moore and Dalton fall into the respective categories but just not as high. Lazenby was solid though.

Your moms a smart cookie. I'm not a huge Bond fan, but Brosnan will always be Bond to me, because he was Bond the whole time I was growing up. Plus the goldeneye on the N64 where you were Brosnan, so after playing as him for years as well, you kind of find it difficult to picture other people as Bond.

I honestly did not like Goldfinger. It was just rather boring. From Russia With Love was good after the gypsy shit. That gypsy shit was unbearable. And Dr. No was amazing to me. It felt like a spy movie. It just lost all its impressiveness in the final showdown. The mystery and detective/spy moments were cool.

Anybody else care to discuss this with me? I usually get shit for not liking Goldfinger as much but besides Honor Blackman as Pussy Galore I was not a fan too much. How is thunderball?

just finished a 3 week marathon seeing all of them, from russia with love being my favorite, what stood out to me is that for a series heralded for its action, those were the least interesting and impressive parts of every single movie, besides some of the stunts.

favorite scene in the franchise was in FRWL where Connery and Shaw are just talking on the train before their fight breaks out. also think the living daylights is underrated and goldeneye is overrated

I'm currently rewatching the Brosnan movies. Seen Goldeneye yesterday and just now finished Tomorrow never dies.

Don't know which one i'm looking afterwards, maybe the Connery ones, haven't seen them in HD.
only read good things about the quality so far.

I really like brosnsan. I grew up with his movies and of course the goldeneye game.

Connery still has the edge though. he has this slightly evil aura that makes him unlike any of the bonds after. He really doesn't give a fuck, he's a straight psycho.
