so, I recently got into this show and binged it
saw a notable drop in quality come season 5. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but there were just things that irked me about it
I don't think I can put it into words at the moment, but I think the most clear thing to me was the antagonist and Walt's journey. with the antagonists you go from someone like Tuco, a hilariously brutal and energetic hombre; to his cousins, two hardcore and eerily silent badasses; to Gus, the suit who puts the "chill" in Chile
but after that, I'm not sure. I kinda like the idea of Hank as the final antagonist, but that just petered out towards the end with Walt quitting and the fucking nazis
anyone else feel this way?

I for one thought the move away from a singularly defined "antagonist" was one of the latter seasons' strong suit; while I know BrBa is somewhat pulpy I do not think it has to be a cartoon superhero story for it to be good

The ending season wasn't perfect but I still liked it. The nazi's were bad as a final boss since they weren't developed enough but the Walt/Skylar "I did it for me" scene was pure kino and basically what the whole series was building towards.
Could have been better in many ways sure but overall still pretty good and a great show.
