>Go see Dunkirk
>Theater is filled with teenage girls dressed like sluts
>They start cooing during certain scenes as if they are watching twilight
>they all cheer and applaud at the end
Am I missing something or are girls suddenly interested in historical movies about WW 2? If so why? I feel like I'm missing something here

harry styles
>>85236214
nobody can resist big guys like Tom Hardy especially when they crash planes
Harry Styles, Cilian Murphy, and Tom Hardy were in the movie
My girl literally held my hand to her chest when styles came on screen
Then we fucked when we got home
>enter kinoplex to see Dunkirk in imax.
>theater full of military/police
>behind a man with a shirt that says "i hunt the EVIL that you pretend doesnt exist"
>lights dim previews are over, movie starts
>settle into my seat and get ready to enjoy
>smelly gook walks in and sits in wheelchair guest reserved seat next to me I hoped would be empty
>spend the next two hours wishing big guy would come shoot this gook in his spitfire
>5/5 film
>>85236214
>historical

>>85236214
Literally what, my theater was filled with 40 year old history enthusiasts
>>85236214
>imagine having such a twisted worldview damaged by years of browsing /pol/ and r/The_Donald that you're surprised when people watch and enjoy movies
It's Harry Style
>>85236214
We all clapped at the end, Im not afraid to admit that I did
>>85236477
Not sure if cucked or not
>>85236987
it really wasn't that great. It was just an ok movie
>>85236981
they're clearly not the target audience to be fair
>>85236214
>go to see Dunkirk
>4 previews
>one for Star Wars, the rest capeshit
Is this the state of American cinema?
>>85236214
Probably because you're taking /tv/ memes seriously and war movies appeal to everyone.
>>85236214
It's actually fucking crazy how little I noticed Styles at all in this movie. He was there, but he served his purpose well and wasn't all flashy and shit.
For those who may be confused, he's the dude that called out the Frog in the boat.
Nolan is a genius
>that one girl who had a panic attack and had to be carried out in a stretcher because she thought harry styles character would die
>>85237149
Nolan really missed an opportunity with that one
>yfw Harry Styles was the best
>>85237192
To be fair, he had no clue who the fuck Styles was, only that he fit the part.
i saw a few tweets from girls saying it was "so hot" seeing harry play a selfish dick.
>>85236716
How very strange that I just saw Dunkirk in IMAX with that shirt on....
>>85237224
What's his endgame in the movie?
>that sweet old nurse that died on the first ship to get torpedoed
>>85236981
Fucking hell you are obsessed. Let it go man there'll be other elections.
>>85237224
He really stood out. It was clear he was a teenage hearthrob among of british mongs
>>85237553
War is hell
>>85236981
I bet you see trump in every shadow too, you pathetic excuse of a man
>>85237616
PURE irony here
>>85237224
>his scene in the sinking boat
Dude was intense
It was an ok movie but an amazing IMAX experience. Only way to put it. I could see this getting re-released or shown in science theaters long after it's theatrical run.
>>85236214
They want to appear as if they know and care about history unlike those evil republicans who have forgotten all about it and are sending us back to another war. :eyeroll:
>>85236214
just came back from this movie
first impressionit was an incredible film
glad I saw it in theaters
i kind of regret all the mean things I've said about Nolan now
