I'd kill for a Stargate game where you're just some grunt out on a mission that goes to hell and you end up dialling the wrong address, landing you on a random planet instead of back home. Then since you're not Carter you can't hack the DHD or figure out how to dial back home, and you get chased by some Goa'ulds, so you just have to keep on dialling new places in regular intervals using some codes stolen from a Goa'uld or from meeting other people, sometimes finding barren planets you have to just survive and then nice planets where you can get some respite, and then a bunch of inhabited planets where the people might fight you, treat you like a God, trade with you or infect you with some disease. The end-goal being to have made allies that'll help you get in contact with Earth.

Problem is that mgm doesn't seem to want to fully commit to it. People want science fiction series. Stargate could do extremely well but they'd need to commit to it.
