It's the only reason I would have ever seen that. God that must have been over a decade ago now - perhaps a bit less.

Same with Tarkovsky's Stalker as a matter of fact. I remember the subs being off by a fraction of a second. Still made quite an impression tho.

I didn´t like it. Had a few creepy moments, but the whole thing felt cheaply made (which it probably was, but there a ways to work around that) and felt too long, even with it´s laughable runtime.

It's creepy for like 10 minutes then it becomes boring.
I do love the visuals and the effect on the actual film that they did, but as a piece of narrative cinema it's really pretentious and unnecessary.
