Bryce Dallas Howard is my favorite actress, not because of her acting ability (although I always root for her and I want to see her do better because I think she has the ability) but because I like seeing her in movies. It has more to do with me just finding her attractive though. I like her face, I like her voice, I like her general look, and from all her interviews she seems to be such a sweet, caring, and humble person with the friendliest attitude and she probably makes a great friend. Seeing her on screen just makes me feel comfortable. On top of that I have a newfound respect for Ron Howard for giving her to us.

The story is a mess.
The Africa sub-plot is contrived and unnecessary.
The "Martha" twist is laughable.
The sudden introduction of Doomsday was "oh-and-now-this-happens" as fuck.

I see what they were going for with Lex but they did not pull it off even a little bit. "ding ding ding". that jaded wink-and-a-knod to the audience when they said the are was abandoned at the end.

Heavy handed Jesus imagery. Why does Lois throw the spear into the water just to turn around and go grab it again? Why was Lois even there at the end? When Bruce Waynes parents get killed that shot of the pearl necklace snagged behind the hammer of the pistol is a contrived bit of I'M DOING CINEMATOGRAPHY!!

The Flash cameo was fucking retarded and was just a shoehorned in piece of franchise building that had no relevance to the story. All the justice legue videos were bad. Is Aquaman slowly floating out of a hole and stabing at the camera supposed to look badass or something?

Why is Zod Doomsday? What was the point of the entire congressional subplot? They just get blown up and Lex gets the Kryptonite anyway.

Actually, if we were to go back about 5 years ago, when all he had under his belt was Watchmen and 300; I'm sure we all would have enthusiastically agreed.

I can only think of two directors/filmmakers that seemed to have great potential and turned out that mediocre.... Richard Kelly seemed like a fantastically original and innovative mind in directing when we saw Donnie Darko, but he never again made anything near as good. And the guy that made Napoleon Dynamite. With all 3 of these guys we thought they would be the next Scorsese or Kubrick and we couldn't have been more fucking wrong.
