I don't know what you mean by destroyed as you can simply choose not to watch any of those movies, but consumers did it if anyone did. Do you know what capitalism is? That list of movies is possible because Disney is positive people will come to see them in droves. Disney has a responsibility to its stockholders to generate as much profit as possible. It's not complicated.
