It's not a great film by any stretch but the whole "future of video games" aspect makes it engaging enough for me to pay attention. Add some unusual (usual for Cronenberg) grossness like the famous skeleton gun assembly scene and decent pacing and you've got me entertained. I might never rewatch it but watching it once was fun enough.
