Yeah, but honestly most people aren't sold by the first episode. The first episode Jermaine gets dumped or something and it's kind of a downer (with funny moments). Episodes 2 and 3 will sell the shit out of you though.

It's a bit real at times about the struggle of being poor musicians. Slightly depressing but when it's funny, it's really funny.

Oh, and virtually all of their songs are ripping off a specific artist's style, so there may be some you really like and some you hate. And it's about 50/50, so there's likely to be some good music on it that you might not like.

Murray steals the goddamn show. Mel is pretty great too.

As a New Zealander, no. It's not funny. The comedic writing is mediocre at best. And they gimp all the songs. They cut parts out and speed them up for TV. Their live performances of the songs before the TV show are much better.
