Marvel is already having to scale back their ambitions; the comic bubble is slowly bursting.

Remaking a bunch of classics reeks of desperation, and I'm skeptical that they'll do that well. It's not like The Lion King or Mulan is reliant on CGI that has gone outdated (like with lots of sci-fi and comic reboots), so these new films are going to be hard-pressed to really surpass the originals.
