Which is better, Redux or the theatrical cut?

redux adds useless scenes which were cut for a good reason. Its just a bunch of rich miserable french aristocrats playing with their dicks and a scene of a US camp that the brass just abandoned and is this hippie community almost. That part was pretty cool, but not worth it.
