The only real manual in the movie is the red wrx at the start the rest are auto.

Movie falls apart Midway and remembered it's a action caper by the end but the characters development and back story are non existent and babies motivation makes no sense at the end and the tonal shift is sloppy compared to hot fuzz Scott Pilgrim and sotd.

It's better than. World's end but that's not saying much

It was a snoozer desu, which sucks because the trifecta worked so well together. It was overly long with a horrible plot that not only was uninteresting, but wasn't even coherent enough to get you from the characters from one scene to the next without Gosling's character "realizing things". One of the rarer instances of a movie succumbing to diminishing returns.

Automatic transmissions became standard once they became as efficent and inexpensive as manual transmissions.

The US Congress, I believe in the 70s, did a survey with the intention of converting to the Metric system, and it was found out that it would cost billions of dollars and would create mass confusion in the populace.

I use metric when baking because it's stupid not to. For all other purposes, imperial is fine.

The problem with Celsius is that it's always a low number, and a human brain associates low, with less than something, or the absence of something. Cold is the absence of heat, so C is fine on a cold day. But on a fairly warm day, say it's like 78F or something, doesn't that translate to just 28C? 28C doesn't 'sound hot' because it's such a low number still.

I'm still confused why the movie proceeded the way it did after the botched arms deal that Jamie Foxx went bananas on. Baby could've easily called off the heist there. The plot was banal but they could've done a better job with the second half of the film and avoided it being a huge clusterfuck.

It was also pretty silly that it all happened over 250k of money orders. Still going ahead with the heist for that small an amount after your people killed a bunch of guys and blew up a warehouse is pretty dumb for professional criminals, especially when they killed a member for forgetting his gun after the previous heist. The inconsistency of characters like Spacey's are probably the weakest part of the movie.
