How come no one gets that even though star wars takes places long ago they come have evolved and developed technology faster than us. Also no one understands time is a measurement therefore they could have been in existence way before us. Also it could take place in one of the many multi verse that exist. Which is why no one understands it.

I think most understand that Star Wars took place in a galaxy nowhere near our own, one that was born before ours and may not even exist anymore. Not hard to get, but I guess some people think our solar system is the entire universe

Earth is 4.5 billion years old
The Star Wars galaxy had a head start of potentially billions of years, of course their tech is going to be more advanced
