My big thing about changing the doctors sex is the fact that it's too soon. Making the master into missy was a big deal and brought up the discussion of having the doctor himself be female. The thing is, it's too predictable. Like it seems like such an obvious thing they would do is make the doctor female and doesn't seem like a big twist that missy was. I feel they should've waited one more regeneration and then having the doctor be female. It's to cliche and unjust as a twist to have her as a doctor. Also, wtf is with having this announcement so soon? Like any chance of a twist they would have they ruined by announcing this. Now we're just counting down the minutes until the doctor regenerates and won't be exciting at all.
