I've watched Doctor Who since it came back in 2005, kid.
Matt Smith was the peak of nu-Who and since then, all the tricks they've been turning out haven't drawn any attention to the product.
It's a sinking ship and no one cares. This is a last ditch effort to try to bring fans back aka fans they've pushed away with their pandering.
I loved Doctor Who, before it became a political mess. Screencap this post when the series experiences its lowest ratings with the new Doctor.
