For anyone who wasn't aware, the BBC has recently pledged to be more "diverse", what they're saying is they want to accurately reflect the diversity of Britain, however Britain is 83% white, something like 3% LGBT, so what the BBC is doing instead is creating their own focus groups of "marginalised people", and then basing their representation off of the focus groups they created to disproportionately represent whoever they want. If i remember correctly they're aiming for something like 22% black, 10% disabled, and all sorts of wild numbers they pulled out of their ass. But it's not just for on screen roles, they want to do the same thing with behind the scenes staff too, you can literally find job advertisements from the BBC that say "no whites" (they actually say to only apply if you're from a Black Minority Ethnic background, but its the same thing), even for roles where the race is irrelevant.

They've gone completely off the fucking rails and it's only just begun. First it'll be a female Doctor, then a black one, then a black female disabled one, and so on and so on and so on.

Doctor Who has been plummeting since Smith's era ended, and it's not because of Capaldi. It's because the episodes are written like ass. Doctor Who certainly isn't the patrician's theater or anything like that, but since series 7/8 the writing has been several leagues lower. If they keep up the trend of awful seasons, a Doctor with a vagina is not going to save the show. Also Hayley Atwell would have fit the Doctor's persona much better (and she also has big tits).

Odds of that happening are pretty much zilch. Nuwho is already guilty of making all the stories about the Doctor instead of single-use bit part characters having as much (Or more) screen time as the Doctor and companions because it's their story and the Doctor and crew just sidle into it. Since we already got a few outright FUCK DRUMPH AND FUCK WHITE PEOPLE out of Capaldi they're going to go even more overboard with a female Doctor.

To be honest I wasn't that wild about the Master regenerating into a woman either, but he isn't in the show as much so I rolled with it. Doesn't hurt that the actress they got for it was pretty fun even if she doesn't have a goatee.
