This series is utterly fascinating to me. Like with a lot of ridiculous action movie series', the first one is actually a real movie with a coherent plot and characters, then each sequel slowly gets more and more cartoonish, but somehow F&F is different. Two was utterly abysmal, and Tokyo Drift felt like a script for a different movie that they shoved a single scene with bin diesel at the end so they could slap a recognizable name on it.
But somehow they pulled it from the brink with 4. And not only that, instead of just pretending the shitty sequels didn't happen, they tied them in with the lore, and it fucking worked.
Blows my fucking mind man
I'm a big fan of those movies. The later ones are genuinely entertaining action comedies.

I think they're all pretty shit but they're also really fun and entertaining. Good movies to just turn off your brain and watch.
They're a fun two hours of your life. The Paul Walker sendoff was more emotional than anything else Hollywood has put out in a long time.
