I'm not the idiot who said it wasn't funny because obviously it has funny moments. But I felt the movie was very truthful and unsettling like the scene with the general talking about the fluoride in the water supply. The movie has this odd tone that straddles the line between almost a horror/thriller pov of what could have happened in that climate of fear and a humor about the absurdity of it all.
