I can appreciate that they tried to make Flash more of a "That kid" but he should have no social leverage on peter. Flash might be rich but peter can actually prove that he worked for Tony stark which basically guarantees him a future ignoring the fact that peter is also a genius who can get by without it. Flash seems less of a cool chad and more of a sniveling Randall who I'm sure people only tolerate for his money.

Do kids even carry lunch money anymore? Don't they have swipe cards for that stuff now?

I don't mind that they changed his race but they could have at least gotten a tall athletic guy who actually looked intimidating.

I don't think he was supposed to be Flash in the beginning, just the new reboot equivalent of Flash but they ended up actually making him Flash

His character is literally a rich preppy but smart asshole, it's not like he's a popular braindead jock, I guess they realized that athletic muscular jock bully is an outdated trope, still I didn't think of him as a general bully in this movie, just your typical smug piece of shit
