but GoT has about 100 times the budget and has had some battles. The Last Kingdom always makes it come down to a duel and then cuts to the next day.

The Last Kingdom has one big advantage over GoT in that shit actually happens when you want it to happen making it infinitely less frustrating to watch, but other than that the budget just isn't there to make it a fair competition.

It's still a fun and underrated show though.
