Why didn't Bane publicly unmask Batman and then execute him? If his goal was to break Gotham's spirit, why stop at airing the dirty laundry behind Harvey Dent's death? Making Gotham's savior mortal and then killing him in front of the city would be a powerful blow to opposing morale, wouldn't it? Nolan pls respond.

Not after Bane revealed that Dent was the bad guy all along and that they were lied to. So do that reveal, then bring forward Batman, then kill him.
