Hello /tv/
Blockbusters bore me to death, more "decent" and "dramatic" movies seems to me cringey af, older arthouse cinema is a chore to watch.
I was wondering, if you could suggest me any contemporary, less known (producing B/C-grade films, with borderline amateur actors and production) companies producing movies that don't adhere to any particular genre (i.e. I can imagine there is a company that just put out zombie/giant-shark movies, not interested in that) and are watchable, unintentionally cringey, not-pandering and just an old-school fun to watch with brain turned off?
(as for a genre, I don't really care if it is action, romance, drama, avant-garde or whatever)
watch the Puppet Master series up to the fifth entry
incredibly fun slasher series that was surprisingly decent and enjoyable
everything after 5 is cancer tho

thanks, looks ok
(Still waiting for a contemporary recc)
The Killjoy movies. The first two ghetto horror movies, 3 is a normal horror movie sit in China, 4 and 5 are straight up comedies. It's about s killer clown that gets summoned to kill people.

puppet master is criminally underrated
one of my favorite childhood memories is binge watching these with my mom over Domino's pizza
