Last Action Hero is fucking awesome, ever since the moment that film came out I fucking LOVED IT.

I was born late 80's and my parents brought me up on The Naked Gun and shit like that... I do love a lot of recent films but my heart will always go back to 70's/80's/90's films and TV series.

Because they were written by actual writers, many of them writer directors, rather than studio committees. Moreover, they were made for American, rather than global, audiences.
