I'd want to see a movie about Tex Watson, star athlete, honor student, and church boy in high school to the guy who actually brutally murdered the seven people (counting Sharon's son).

Seems more compelling than someone who was always an absolute madman. Obviously Manson would be in it. I think Shia or Joaquin could be good for Manson. Christian Bale and Pattinson are way too tall. Manson was 5'2" and doesn't work if he's towering over everybody.

I have no idea who would play Tex, he was 23 at the time so it's hard to think of anyone.
