ITT: Forced and unfunny side characters

frank is the character that drives the series idiot.

I get it, Danny Devito is a funny and lovable guy, but there are honestly only a handful of moments where Frank is actually good, for the most part he is forced into episodes because financially the show wouldn't last without the star power of Devitio.

Frank is great in moderation, but is admittedly a little overbearing from time to time in episodes where he's the main focus as opposed to part of the ensamble. However, he is single handedly responsible for some of the funniest punchlines in the entire series and works great when he's playing off the rest of the cast.
