They went full retard with the world building shit.

In the first movie it felt more like a cool secret hitman society, but then in Chapter 2 they completely jump the shark and now like half the population on earth are assassins. People don't barely panic when they start shooting at eachother as if it's just business as usual.

It was absolutely cringeworthy.
Keanu trying to speak russian/italian, that black guy also, stereotypical bosses and antagonist sidekicks, most cliche generic stock soundtrack ever, first half of the movie is absolutely emtpy lazy writing, the opening scene makes zero sense in terms of the story, also atrocious CGI car chase scene, half of the scene start with someone just calling him from the other room John/Johnathan/Mr. Wick/John Wick etc

Every single filmmaking element was atrocious except for the gunplay, which also was pretty fucking absurd (enemies with automatic rifles rushing at John for some reason, shooting with silencers is considered as completely silent etc)
Still baffled by the critical praise.

I'm sure there are plenty of better sequels/movies. But I still enjoyed it. Unfortunately it doesn't look like the movie did well domestically. I would like to see a third chapter.

This was without a doubt the worst performance keanu ever gave.
I didn't mind him in the other movies despite all the shit everyone gives him but this was the first time his acting was so bad it took me out of the film.

the highway scene is objectively good. the concept of a cross media experiance was good on paper but could of been exectuted better (Animatrix, Enter the Matrix game and Reloaded all tying together).

As much as I love John Wick, this was a serious contender for the worst.
