He'd make a speech at Tuvok and Neelixes funerals about how they made the ultimate sacrifice and move on, but he wouldn't have allowed Tuvix to serve as a member of the crew until he retook all the Starfleet training and exams.

And when he got home, he would have handed him over to Starfleet Medical for testing, as Guinan wouldn't have been there to make the slavery analogy.
>>
>>84919463
The real question you should be asking is how would they have dealt with Tuvix?

This all just reminds me of how annoying Chakotay was. So Native Americans having already been fairly intermixed into the American population by today, will somehow retain a bloodline that far into the future that's worth a giant face tattoo that current tribes don't even use.

Chakotay's dad tracked down the aliens that taught Native Americans their religion and they gave him the tattoo, Chakotay copied it to honour his dad and the aliens, presumably later in life as he didn't care when he was a teenager in the flashback we see.

Seriously fuck you for making me defend Voyager.

Tom Riker was returned to the Federation with brain damage on Stardate 48741.2 and died on Stardate 48753.1. Cardassian doctors claimed it was a result of Tuvan syndrome, but there was no evidence of this, nor any obvious signs of mistreatment by our Cardassian asslies. President Jaresh Inyo was quoted as saying "his death will not go unchallenged" but his office has declined to comment on what form this challenge will take.

What the hell did you just frikkin’ say about me, you little chimp? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class at Starfleet Academy, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on the Borg, and I have over 300 confirmed executions of General Order 24. I am trained in ship-to-ship warfare and I’m the top tactical officer in all of Starfleet. You are nothing to me but just another redshirt. I will wipe you the hell out with attack patterns the likes of which has never been seen before in this quadrant, mark my goddamn words. You think you can get away with saying that stuff to me over subspace? Think again. As we speak I am contacting section 31 and your subspace signature is being traced right now so you better prepare for the ion storm, maggot. The ion storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re goddamn dead, ensign. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with self-sealing stem bolts. Not only am I extensively trained in zero-G combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of Starfleet and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable existence off the face of the galaxy, you little chimp. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your goddamn tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will blast fury all over you and you will drown in it. You are dead, ensign. Dismissed

Yup. There wouldn't be any grey area in TNG episode concerning any bridge officer moral judgement.

I'm like 99% judging by Janeway actions she was definitely a section 31 operative and had orders that involved Tuvok as well. Tuvok was probably a Romulan double agent workin for section 31 thus the gap in star fleet career.

Go back to the planet to harvest as much of the plant as possible then start intentionally recombining crew members until the ultimate crew was achieved. Unfortunately, Travorthos would OD on cheese in the sweet spot and Captan Shrarcher would retire in shame

Of course, how else do you explain:
>Only days before Voyager's arrival, the Cardassians were already in the Delta Quadrant.
>In each instance, the caretaker would examine the crews' DNA, and when he failed to find a genetic match he would release the vessel. But in this instance, Neelix's sensors indicated the ship vanished. Obviously, it was returned to the Alpha Quadrant. Why?
>the Cardassians were sent back to deliver strategic information regarding the Delta Quadrant.
>At the same time the Cardassians were meeting with the Caretaker, your Maquis vessel was infiltrated with a Starfleet agent.
>Tuvok guided the Val Jean ship to prearranged coordinates in the Badlands, where the Caretaker locked onto it. Once the Val Jean was pulled into the Delta Quadrant, Tuvok could have secretly transmitted final instructions to the Caretaker. A short time later, Captain Janeway guided Voyager to the same coordinates and was also pulled into the Delta Quadrant. All of these events took place within a matter of days.
>So why did the Captain destroy the array?
>She intended to remain in the Delta Quadrant all along. If the Array had remained intact, the Maquis and all the others would have insisted on using it to return home.
>The Captain ordered Commander Tuvok to destroy the array. He fired two tricobalt devices. Are those weapons normally carried on Federation Starships? Of course not
>Yet they were part of Voyager's arsenal. Why?
>Because either phasers nor torpedoes are capable of creating a tear in subspace. A tricobalt device is. As Tuvok detonated the device, a cloaked ship locked on to one of the array's tetryon reactors and pushed it through the tear into subspace, protecting it from the blast and hiding it from Voyager's sensors. But the Captain and Tuvok knew exactly where it was going. Once Voyager left the area, the reactor was retrieved and began a similar journey, carried by a series of vessels until it was finally delivered to Mister Tash.

Indians won't exist in the USA at all by the time Trek happens. We're slowly wiping them completely out which is good since they're inferior. Shame the Spanish didn't do the same with the Mestizo populations in South and Central America. Fucking Spaniards and Portuguese always halfassing things.

I am new to star trek, I am 5 episodes in on the original series.

Why the fuck does every episode involve some sort of psychic power, use of disguise and illusion, or feature some sort of invasive character altering predicament?

I hope it they mix it up more as it goes on, I don't mind the cheesyness but the stories seem really uninspired. The first pilot was great though.

How can there be so many nerd billionaires and not one of them can finance this? So maybe you don't get the same 5% return from a mutual fund. You'll still make your money back eventually.

A DS9 remaster is not a losing venture, it's just not as profitable as other stuff.

TNG remasters sales were disappointing, the widespread move to streaming services means there is little profit in this venture because less and less people would bother to buy the expensive Blu-rays.
>>
>>84934923
>>84934821
Netflix has made other shows HD for streaming though

why not DS9 and VOY
>>
>>84935034
They have to go back to the original 35mm film negatives and remake the show piece by piece like they did for TOS and TNG. It's a long and expensive process for actual HD not just stretching the original video and using some computer program to make it look less fuzzy.
