Except the movie actually shits on his own Origin. Did I missed the part in "Dark Knight Returns" where Batman violently killed dozens of people? I mean, it's okay he does it in the movie, but that is 0% accurate to the Batman comics.

That being said, that movie was never produced for Comic Book readers, BVS costed 250 million dollars, comics get sold at best 100.000 units, if you unite all comic book readers in the world to go in the cinema, you wouldn't even play half the money the movie costs in.
