Been ages since I saw the sequels but I remember liking them because they were kinda weird. Only the second film is a direct sequel (I think) and the third is some kind of re-interpetation in ye olde days of north american settlement.

I recently saw this french movie called Raw which had a very similar theme. Never seen it mentioned here but I thought it was quite alright.

Second movie is very good, darker than the original though. Third is so so but worth a watch if you eant more.
