There was word on Season 2, back when Season 1 was still airing. It was picked up for Season 2, but wouldn't air for 2 years because HBO was putting extra budget into Game of Thrones.

There are multiple floors with command rooms and a miniature world in the middle. Guests enter the shrink tunnel via a train and are transported to the correct floor

It's not a bad twist but it spent literally like every second between episode 1 and the finale telling us shit we already know. "The maze" is mysterious, "the man in black" is scary and is on a mission, Paul dano has a friend that's an asshole and Paul dano also loves a robot. Literally different variations of that for the entire series. It might not have been noticably annoying if that fucking shitty plot with Maeve was just taken out. That garbage broke my immersion with the story every time I saw those retard scientists doing anything
