I fucking love how they made Dracula a kind of Man of Science. His Castle is a time travelling machine, his minions are genetic experimentations. Holy shit, this was awesome. It doesn't help explain the magic of that hot Speaker, but still interesting.

Also, Dracula was fucking blind by love to let Lisa walk among dumb peasants at risk of being burn by witchcraft.

Anyway, I think his revenge is somewhat more sympathetic now.

Here and there, not a lot. A couple scenes in the (underground?) Clock Tower had it, and I remember spotting some in whichever episode had the city being massacred. There were a couple scenes where the animation was also way too fluid to be completely hand-drawn, like this one scene where there were some flying crows, but that could have just been rotoscoping.
