So far I like the direction they've taken with it. It doesn't look like a typical CG monster (Esp not the pale spindly Cloverfield designs that every other monster movie uses nowadays), it seems a lot more alien, more like the giant monster in The Mist. It's way too big, and seems hard to really take in, and rather than darting around or having tiny camera cuts it's just looming for everyone to see.
