The first trailer looked really interesting until [generic teenage male antagonist #23453466] and [generic teenage female love interest #986546567] showed up.
I would've been a lot more invested in this if the whole cast was aliens, and not just another generic tween heartbreak story with a scifi setting.

I feel conflicted about Jupiter Ascending.
The characters were boring as fuck, and the acting was abysmal, but.. I loved the visuals, and the story sounded great on paper
