I hate the premise of these movies the same as Prometheus and David. I understand that humans sin and we disobey our supposed creator and even curse him but this is a result of us not knowing our creator personally or having any feedback to relate to it. If fucking god/ our creator/ what ever gave us intelligence came to the earth and or showed himself to us I would never think I knew better than him. Even if I could outsmart him i would feel obligated to protect and follow it even if it said it was time to die.
