Over the course of several years, an academically gifted teen with social anxiety gradually comes out of his shell. It consists of a series of un-narrated vignettes exposing his initial awkwardness, charting his progress into a professionally successful but otherwise dysfunctional adult.

I haven't really thought of an ending or climax yet. Maybe the vignettes are cut in with the main character preparing to kill himself, and then he does.
