Give me the best mindfuck movies or tv series you know!
Preferably in a creepy way.
Some that I recently watched: Mulholland Drive, Predestination, Lost Highway, Primer, Memento, The Machinist, Coherence, etc.

Bladerunner

Recently watched Chasing Sleep. Very underrated movie.

First encounter with Broken Saints was strange. Not sure if it can be called "mindfuck series". But it was a very different experience.
>>

>>
>>84789033

>>
>>84788881
DUDE IT'S JUST A DREAM

IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE ON PURPOSE

Seriously though, your list of recently watched suggests that you should probably stay on reddit.
>>
>>84790473
>I don't understand it so therefore it must be bad/reddit
>>
>>84790473
It's okay, not everyone can handle being Lynced
>>
>>84788881
Anyone who uses the word "mindfuck" to describe a movie is underage. This is an irrefutable fact.
>>
>>84790540
>>84790660
Lynch literally makes movies that are supposed to be hard to understand which act like they have some deep confusing plot. But really he just throws a bunch of shit together that doesn't make any sense in his plots so that retards like you can say "wow those were some cool plot twists."

He should've stuck with making movies like Eraserhead.
>>
>>84789395
I'm sure you have some type of mental retardation.
>>
>>84790797
Lynch movies never claim to have any deeper meaning, they're considered more like surrealist tone-poems
>>
Looper
>>
>>84790805
Enlighten me then, what do you think is better?
>>
>>84790883
Oh... so you don't understand them either?

Either way though. His movies act like they're supposed to be these kind of plot twist movies. Whether or not that's the intention, his movies become pretty disappointing because of it.
>>
>>84790952
I like all of the films you listed, but how the fuck can you consider Wild Strawberries a "mindfuck" movie? The dream sequences? Are you really that easily impressionable?

I wouldn't cal the rest of the films mindfuck either, except for maybe Celine et Julie, but it's just a mystery/crime film and the term mindfuck is Reddit as fuck.
>>
>>84790797
>He should've stuck with making movies like Eraserhead
You mean making great movies?
>>
>>84791156
Yeah, Eraserhead is great. His later movies suck.
>>
>>84791115
Preferably I wouldn't call any movie 'mindfuck' because I'm not 10, but based on the OP's movies he should really focus more on surrealism and even lighter surrealism like L'Atalante is important to understanding the movement.
>>
>>84791202
Mulholland Dr is really good. The others are hit or miss.
>>
Being John Malkovich

THE HOLY MOUNTAIN by Jodorosky - just fucking brilliant

Vertigo
Blue Velvet
Psycho
Zodiac
Rosemary's Baby
>>
>>84792421
The movie was kinda presented that way.

The movie acts like it's supposed to be some puzzle to be solved, but in reality, there's no solution.

Cant believe no ones said this yet..

Some good ones in here. I'll add:

Valerie and Her Week of Wonders
The Double Life of Veronique

Jacob's Ladder is the movie that set the trend for rubber reality movies, should've been mentioned earlier
>>
>>84790899
no anon, just no.
>>
I'm decently surprised that Momento hasn't been mentioned.

The concept of how the movie progresses its plot, which is very obvious very quickly, is extremely unique. I'll spoiler it just in case you'd rather wait and see it unreveals the story backwards along the events' timeline
>>
>>84797808
wait how the fuck did I read all the movies in OP and skip over momento

i literally even ctrl+f'd
>>
>>84790473
Just imagine how much better this board would be without you.

How new are you?
>>
>>84798188
What does that have to do with you cunts having either no understanding of the word "mindfuck" / "creepy" or just simply lacking sufficient brain function to make good choices
Even /pol/ pales in comparison to the stupidity of these choices

2 or 3 Things I Know About Her is awesome

on the one hand, there's no plot, and not much of a point to the movie.

on the other hand, it's some really beautiful footage of France in the 60s, including some interesting mundane stuff.
