Specially for ross, chandler, joey and some rare moments where phoebe is fun.

Since they could see into Ross' apartment from Monica's, he'd do different bits from his apartment so that anyone watching from Monica's would look into his and find him funny. Cue Joey and Monica looking in on him and they see >>84759964, Joey refers to it as his "pretending to watch TV bit" while Monica just thinks he's actually watching TV.

Then later someone says that now Ross is pretending to watch TV. They point out that he is probably just actually watching TV and not just doing something for their amusement.
