The only acceptable place to clap after watching a film is in film festivals because most of the time there are some of the cast/crew that worked on said film so you applaud to show appreciation to them, just like you clap after a good concert.

It's amazing to me that there exists people with no mental disabilities that actually clap after a movie in their shitty theater with no cast or crew present. These people do not possess even a tiny bit of introspection. I don't think I can even consider them human, because to me that is an essential part of what differentiates us from animals.

Not just because of the clapping of course but of what it represents. Their whole lives must be such a fucking mess.
