That one where Scully spends a month finding definitive proof that aliens exist and seeded life as well as every major Abrahamic religion but doesn't tell anyone except for a single african woman, then she leaves every single piece of evidence completely unguarded and unlocked in a cloth tent despite knowing that an angry mob plans to destroy all evidence and lynch anyone who knows about it. When she returns and finds that everything was destroyed she doesn't even tell anyone and continues believing in Abrahamic religion for the rest of the show.

I didn't really follow the X-files back when it aired...but I remember that "Groundhog Day at the bank" episode they had fondly.
