Donny Darko. some /mu/tant years ago came up with this pretty well thought out conspiracy that the movie was inspired by the song "Don, Aman". Something about "Don" referring to Donny, and Aman referring to his sister Samantha. Also something about the length of the song/album coinciding with the amount of time left frank gives Donny, and the lyrics vaguely fitting the Halloween scene.
