It's a Skylanders or Disney Infinity kind of game and yes, The Doctor was actually a main character in the series. He was also a very good character to get as you have to own the Tardis to get certain unlockables like the Flintstones and Jetsons content. I'll get the others argue since I don't care to engage in non-Doctor Who conversation so I'd answer your question. I gained an interest in it when another chan I go to started showing interest in the series and honestly by a user who went by the moniker of "The Doctor" posting shtick on the boards. Interesting enough this is the same user that the guy posting Dr. Phil / Eccleston images here tries to imitate. I also had a friend from /co/ who started watching the series with Matt Smith so I decided to check it out.

My first story was actually An Unearthly Child with William Hartnell as The Doctor which was uploaded on DailyMotion which I watched with said friend on InstaSync or maybe it was SyncTube. I do not remember how long ago it was. Then I felt intrigued about how this one user was portraying The Doctor that I started with Christopher Eccleston and continued all the way to Matt Smth. I remember loving David Tennant more because I got to know him more over three seasons until I re-watched Eccleston's run. Now I am indecisive over which one I like more. Even though I cannot pick a favorite Doctor since I see them all as the same person.

Not sure if those chans still follow the series anymore aside from another friend of mne, but I just kept watching the series since then and I even tried a few of the Classic Who episodes. I do like how this show is one that comes up with unique storytelling ideas that I haven't seen in other shows before, but it feels hard for me to get into Classic Who because I am from a later generation spoiled by special effects. That doesn't mean I cannot appreciate the Classic show for what it was and still mark out whenever they show something like a Classic Tardis in one of the newer episodes like Hell Bent.

Just for the record, I do support a transgender companion even if only because I want to see how they might react to The Doctor regenerating.

I just keep watching the last 3 minutes of The Doctor Falls over and over, it's so incredibly well acted.
