Unironically my brother.

Growing up he was the more popular one, the funnier one, the cooler one. I was a virgin until 20, he was getting consistently laid since age 15. Smoked weed and drank with the cool kids while I stayed home watching late night Sci-fi channel.

Flashforward 15 years and he's still living at home with my mother, unemployed, smokes weed all day, no wife, no kids, nothing to call his own.

The film also has an inherit nostalgic quality. You could have grown up anywhere. You could be any age. And you will feel a sense of nostalgia. That's a feeling I've only ever come across in music. I haven't seen another film that gives me that feeling based on its own merits.
