Why can't he get any major roles?
Dude ages well and seems fairly bankable.

Saved money from the Full House times?

Syndication does wonders. That's why Seinfeld is still technically one of the highest paid comedians

>He starred along side Gene Simmons in a movie though
No wonder his movie career died
>>84633928
That movie was so awful except the Simmons scenes
Name one Stamos appearance in the past 15 years that wasn't stunt or meme casting.

He has a very specific "look" and aura to him. If he was capable of doing a range of things, he would have done it. It's not like people are holding a grudge against him. Plenty of people have escaped from the world of sitcoms. Even Matt LeBlanc managed to do a few other things after being in a pretty similar position.
His mistake was never taking a role that played against type right around the end of Full House. He needed something to break from the mold of that. Full House was on for so long, and he was such a specific character (handsome, slightly slow-witted guy with a heart of gold) that he needed something else on his resume to give people another perspective on him.

From everything I've ever seen if assume the former.
He's literally to cool to care

>to young to understand how big Full House was and how it continues to give the cast millions a year even today

If you wanna see a solid performance from him watch his episode of Tales From The Crypt, it's one of his few edgy roles.
